It’s time for the Final Four! This is ExecutiveOtaku, live from the Sai Mecha Arena. Tonight we have the semifinals, where the final four contestants from this year’s tournament face off for a spot in the championship. Only one of the Gods of GARhalla remains standing this year, the YF/VF-19 Excalibur. The soul of MidGAR was strong this year, so we have three mecha setting foot for the first time upon the sands of the semifinals. Who will survive the penultimate round and move forward? Only time and votes will tell!

With apologies for the significant delay. In the interest of getting things moving again as quickly as possible, a quick posting of the results, followed by voting for the next round tomorrow with a minimal writeup. Since it’s been my schedule that’s caused the delays, I can’t really ask Ghostlightning to do a writeup by tomorrow, so the next round will have a short one and then things can get back to normal following that vote. The final phase of Sai Mecha 2012 begins now with the first RaGARok round. These matchups will set the tone for the remainder of the tournament, as these fan favorites clash in the arena. It is time. Since long ago (at the beginning of this year’s tourney) it has been prophesied that the four Champions of MidGAR and the four Gods of GARhalla would meet, and chaos would decent upon the land. This is it, mecha fans! ExecutiveOtaku here at the Sai Mecha Arena for the final round of MidGAR matches. From this round will come the four champions of MidGAR that will mix it up with the gods of GARhalla in the chaos of the RaGARok round. Just a reminder, RaGARok will feature a new bracket, randomly determined and comprised of whoever wins this round plus last year’s Final Four: the Evangelion UNIT 01, MS-06 Zaku II, YF/VF-19 Excalibur, and the VF-1 Valkyrie. This round, the eight mecha that have come forth from the Earth and Colonies Sides will compete for the right to enter into the final cataclysm. So lets get to it, mecha fans!
